Via Library Journal (which hopefully will have a review of Sorcerer’s Revolt in a bit.)
Ingram Digital’s gonna refocus on four markets. The two that matter are:
- Education Solutions—will focus on the individual sales of content from publishers to students. William Chesser, current VP of Sales and Marketing for VitalSource, has been tapped as VP/General Manager.
- Institutional Solutions—will focus on selling and delivering eBooks via the MyiLibrary aggregated online eBook platform. Rich Rosy, formerly VP of Business Development for Asia Pacific, is VP/General Manager.
Fun to see what the former VitalSource can do in academe.
Or at least, there’s some competition.
