Ask him why Oxford University Press titles are so often set to maximum gouge?
I understand they mostly have a business via schools/libraries, i.e. indirect transfer from taxpayers, and are there capable of getting $70-80 for a title. But geeze, they have one book going for $45 hardcover that would do much better as a $15 trade paperback. If not a $6.99 version. But the pricing is ridiculous.
Don’t believe there’s interest in Wuxia? Just hit the movies next weekend.
