Never downloaded a movie from Amazon, but I did just get my wife the Phantom of the Opera recording from unboxed. Itunes DRM doesn’t matter, I was just burning it for her truck’s CD player, something new for the carpool to enjoy, but the interesting thing was the item cost $8.99 on Amazon, vs. $19.99 or maybe $16.99 from Itunes.
An inexact survey, of an item that’s unlike to be an Amazon best-seller, but… interesting.
/Haven’t taken her to see Phantom yet. We’ve caught Hairspray, Cats, Producers, Mama Mia, Wicked, Miss Saigon, et al… mostly at the Hippodrome. Her interest in musicals started when she did a report on UrineTown.
