New Kindles Hard to Come… Again?
Over at TheKindle, it’s noted that shipping delays for the device have gotten longer. Good speculation, and certainly could be a shortage of batteries as much as anything.
I’d add that, for a certain kind of person, a solid ebook device is just the thing to take with you into a recession, ‘cuz you know you’ll be spending a lot of time with it.
This was true back in ‘01 as well, and the phenomenon isn’t that different from video game enthusiasts, who will eat ramen for a month or two to buy a chosen platform.
