About This Book
Kabbala Denudata: The Kabbalah Unveiled is a translation and commentary on key texts of the Jewish mystical tradition by S. L. MacGregor Mathers (1854–1918), one of the founders of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Mathers translated portions of the Zohar and other Kabbalistic texts from the Latin version of Knorr von Rosenroth (1677–1684), making these esoteric works accessible to an English-speaking audience for the first time. The book has been influential in Western occultism. The translation is in the public domain.
